Deal Definition(s)

The word deal is an adjective.  Deal means (1) made of fir or pine.
Deal is also a noun that means (1) the act of apportioning or distributing something, (2) the act of distributing playing cards, (3) a particular instance of buying or selling, (4) an agreement between parties (usually arrived at after discussion) fixing obligations of each, (5) the type of treatment received (especially as the result of an agreement), (6) the cards held in a card game by a given player at any given time, (7) (often followed by `of') a large number or amount or extent, (8) wood that is easy to saw (from conifers such as pine or fir), (9) a plank of softwood (fir or pine board).
Deal is also a verb that means (1) take into consideration for exemplifying purposes, (2) deal with verbally or in some form of artistic expression, (3) do business; offer for sale as for one's livelihood, (4) sell, (5) distribute to the players in a game, (6) give (a specific card) to a player, (7) give out as one's portion or share, (8) administer or bestow, as in small portions, (9) take action with respect to (someone or something), (10) behave in a certain way towards others, (11) be in charge of, act on, or dispose of, (12) direct the course of; manage or control, (13) come to terms or deal successfully with.
